Bruno Castellucci (Châtelet, 1944) is a Belgian jazz drummer of Italian descent. He became known through his collaboration with Toots Thielemans, with whom he performed in countless concerts and recordings since 1974. In the 1990s he led the Bruno Castellucci Stringtett. As a sideman he has appeared on over 60 albums and has worked alongside Charlie Mariano, Airto Moreira, Joe Zawinul, Bob Mintzer, Chet Baker, Lee Konitz, Jaco Pastorius, Quincy Jones, Chaka Khan, Dianne Reeves, Bill Frisell, Gordon Beck and many more. He has taught at Liège Conservatory, Rotterdam Conservatory, Brussels Music Academy, Royal Brussels Jazz Conservatory, and Drum High School Brussels, as well as giving master classes in many countries.
